The living and dining space is the heart of the design and includes all possible objects that are so curious looking and catchy while the home study and work space has been ergonomically placed underneath the stairs to save up on some space. All of the apartment’s architectural materials have been sensitively selected to add a contemporary feel to the apartment both contrasting and complementing the historic frontage of the historic building beneath. The main structure is clad in a lightweight silver and white Alucobond skin; limestone and Calcutta marble stonework and lime washed timber floorboards and decking complete the elegant design.
A tour through Norwegian-based ceramic designer Silje Aune Eriksen’s beautiful residence showcases how one can add a sense of nostalgia and simplicity to modern design and interiors without going over the top. Simple shades soothing colors and sporadic presence of effervescent patterns make up this cool house and add to this warm and plush furnishing and you have a residence that is both unique and inspirational.
Artistic in all ways the pillow cushions feature original images of animals making for a unique decorative item that could add a special pop to your living room the bedroom or any other space in your home. There just is something that makes us uncomfortable about the name ‘Elliott Ripper’ but if you look past the ‘ripper’ part of it then you are set to find a lovely modern home that can be a beautiful bachelor hub and also a wonderful residence for a small family.
