But the fond memories of childhood on the beaches in New Zealand has meant that the Otama Beach House has been designed to replicate that feeling and nostalgia as the architect intends to now spend some time down under.

With the structure of the home itself occupying all the area of the plot available for construction the designers went ahead and incorporated a vertical garden that allows the residents of the home to grow some green in the limited space.

All of these add up to create effectively a zero-energy home that is as appealing to environmentalists as it is to interior designers. The interiors are split into well organized living dining and kitchen spaces that form one section while the bedrooms master suite and the bathrooms are housed at a different level. Sophisticated elegant and yet casual in its own refined fashion this is a beach house that is apt for every mood and all occasions.

The upper floor features three bedrooms including one master with walk-in wardrobe private balcony and ensuite bathroom with a soak tub. A family bathroom compliments the two smaller bedrooms.
